The second installment of the Bay Bridge series resumes this evening with the Oakland A’s taking the early advantage at the Big O. The San Francisco Giants are the models of resiliency though as Saturday night should have some excitement at the ballpark.
The Giants will go with Manny Burriss at second base today, while Nate Schierholtz will get a second straight start in right field. Aaron Rowand will DH batting seventh as Aubrey Huff will be back at first batting clean up. Pablo Sandoval moves back to third, Brandon Crawford will be at short.
As for the Athletics, they’ll have Jemile Weeks leading off playing second base with Hideki Matsui as the DH once again. Josh Willingham will sit as Adam Rosales will get the start in left field, and Daric Barton will get the start at first base, batting ninth.
