2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game Features Rickey Henderson, Rollie Fingers

The 2011 MLB All Star Game is only a few short weeks away, which also means we're closing in on the All Star festivities and events that surround the game. The All Star break will feature the Game itself, along with the Home Run Derby, the Futures Game, and the Legends and Celebrities Softball Game. This year's softball game will include some famous Bay Area athletes. Former Oakland Athletics Rickey Henderson and Rollie Fingers are each scheduled to make an appearance in this year's game. Complete rosters have not been announced, but we've got 17 names thus far posted after the jump.

The 2011 Legends and Celebrity Softball game is scheduled to include:

Top country music performer Jason Aldean
Pop artist Nick Jonas
American Idol winner and Arizona native Jordin Sparks
Glee sensation Chord Overstreet
Tim DeKay from White Collar
Jesse Williams from Grey's Anatomy
Paul DiMeo from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Tom Papa from the Marriage Ref
Arizona Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald
USA Softball's Jennie Finch, a University of Arizona alum

Hall of Famers scheduled to appear:
Ernie Banks
Goose Gossage
Ozzie Smith
Rickey Henderson
Rollie Fingers

D-backs legends scheduled to appear:
Luis Gonzalez
Mark Grace

The 2010 game was won by the American League team 15-11 at Angel Stadium. Goose Gossage "managed" the winning squad while John Kruk "managed" the losing National League team. Based on the players listed, I would probably predict that Gossage will once again manage the AL team and Ernie Banks will be managing the NL team. Given that it is softball they may go with some of the younger guys, but I doubt it at this point.
