Dodgers Fan Dad Drops Daughter In Attempt To Catch Foul Ball [VIDEO]

SB Nation Bay Area is devoted to covering anything and everything related to Bay Area sports. Part of that devotion to Bay Area sports includes a raw, seething hatred for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Giants fans have their natural rivalry with the Dodgers, while A's fans can still be angry about the 1988 World Series. Accordingly, if there is a chance to mock the Dodgers and/or their fans, we will take advantage of said opportunities.

Which brings us to this video of a guy who will not be winning any father of the year awards any time soon.

The video starts with the dad holding up his daughter as AC/DC's Back in Black is playing. I don't know if it's a foul ball or just a ball being tossed into the crowd by a player. Either way, he goes to put her down to catch the ball and I'm guessing doesn't realize how far away he is from the seat because she slips and falls on her backside. The best part of the video is when he goes to pick her up and she basically gives him a shove like, "Don't touch me." Shortly afterward they show security giving the dad some sort of lecture about throwing his child aside for a baseball. That seems like common sense.
