The Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins kick off their three game series this weekend with a lunch time special out here in the Bay Area. The series starts with a 1:10pm pacific first pitch today featuring Brett Anderson and Carl Pavano, with the Twins sitting as a slight favorite in today's game.
The two teams released their lineups and there's nothing particularly surprising. The A's are going with the lineup most people expected for 2011. They used this lineup the first three games of the season against the Seattle Mariners. The lineup scored two runs in each of the first two games of the series, and closed with seven runs in the series finale victory.
