Oakland Athletics vs. Seattle Mariners, MLB Schedule: A's Send Out Same Lineup For Series Finale

The Oakland Athletics will send out the same lineup for the third straight day as they look to salvage one game in their three-game set with the Mariners. The A’s offense has struggled to get much going thus far, scoring two runs in each of the first two games. That actually might have been enough had the bullpen held up its end of the bargain. However, thus far it’s come up short.

It’s interesting to note that all four runs have been driven in by new arrivals as Josh Willingham has three RBIs and David DeJesus has one RBI. We’re only two games into the season so it’s not necessarily time to get in too much of a huff about the performances this far. Nonetheless, it would be nice to see a solid across-the-board effort from the A’s lineup in this series finale. It could provide solid momentum heading into the first full week of action.
