2012 Screen Actors Guild Nominations: Moneyball's Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill Nominated For SAG Awards

It's about that time again folks, awards season is drawing near, and the Screen Actor's Guild has released it's nominations for their 2011 awards, which just so happen to include Moneyball's Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill.

Pitt is nominated for "Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role" for his portrail of Oakland Athletics general manager Billy Beane, an is up against some serious competition in the form of Goerge Clooney for his role in "The Descendants" and Leonardo DiCaprio for his work as J. Edgar Hoover in Clint Eastwood's "J. Edgar."

As for Hill, he is up for "Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role" for his portrail of Beane's right hand man Peter Brand; a character loosely based off of Paul DePodesta, the current VP of player development and scouting for the New York Mets.
