Down By The Bay: Called It

So, I totally called that yesterday, the Giants and all that. I didn't call the score or even that they'd win, just that there was a big chance the Giants had an exciting game of baseball after their rather uninspired game two days ago. Well there ya go, I was right, and I so love being right. Let's get to it.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

I'm not sure how it happened. I'm not sure it did happen. I'm told it did, but I'm still waiting on confirmation from more reliable sources, even though I watched it live. But the Giants spanked the Cubs yesterday. McCovey Chronicles has a postgame thread.

Look at that, it's contagious. It wasn't as good a game as the Giants game, but the A's played some pretty darn good baseball yesterday. Dallas Braden is a beast. Athletics Nation has a postgame thread.

Not much going on for the 49ers, they're prepping to face the Chiefs. As such, Niners Nation posted a Thursday injury report for practice participation and also took a look at Alex Smith and his distinction of being the 11th smartest athlete in American sports. Cool stuff.

Not much going on with the Wa - oh hey, look at that. The Warriors have some news going down right now. Don Nelson is set to resign as the coach of the Warriors. How about that? The speculation can die now. Golden State of Mind has a post on it.
