DeMarcus Cousins was solid all around as the Kings prevailed over the Magic at home.

The Sacramento Kings managed to overcome poor three-point shooting behind the strong play of DeMarcus Cousins to defeat the Orlando Magic, 91-82, at Sleep Train Arena on Friday night.

The performance by the third-year center wasn't wildly efficient -- he shot just 5-for-13 from the field and was 0-for-1 behind the arc, but he did go 7 for 10 from the free throw line and ended the night with 17 points. He also found other ways to contribute, adding 14 rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Sacramento was just 4 of 22 from the three-point line, but used 25 fast break points to maintain control of the game, displaying youth and athleticism throughout the contest.

Glen Davis led all scorers with 20 points for the Magic on 8-of-19 shooting. He totaled 11 rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Sacramento moved to 6-12 on the season with the win, and Orlando fell to 7-12. The Kings travel to Portland on short rest to take on the Trail Blazers Saturday night.
