After finding themselves in a 14-point hole at halftime, the Sacramento Kings were unable to complete the comeback on the road against the Indiana Pacers, instead falling by the score of 106-98 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in double overtime.

Down three with 48 seconds left on the clock, Marcus Thornton tied the game at 91 with a three-point shot as the game eventually went into overtime. The Louisiana State University product extended the game once again in overtime, scoring from long range to send the contest into a second overtime.

It wasn't enough, however, as the Kings offense scored just two points in the second overtime and were unable to keep pace with the Pacers.

The Pacers found themselves without Danny Granger, who continues nursing an ailing knee, but his replacement in Gerald Green, played just fine scoring 17 points in 24 minutes of action.

DeMarcus Cousins found himself with a double-double when it was all said and done, scoring 21 points and collecting 13 boards for Sacramento.

The Kings fell to 0-3 on the season with the loss, with all three losses coming on the road.
