Sacramento Kings guard Isaiah Thomas is set to rejoin his teammates following a leave of absence stemming from a death in his family, according to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.
Head coach Keith Smart indicated that the second-year point guard and former Washington Husky would be back on Thursday as Sacramento prepares to host the Atlanta Hawks at Sleep Train Arena on Friday night.
Thomas has started all seven games in the 2012-13 season, averaging 24.0 minutes per game. He's posted season averages of 11.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists during that stretch. His best game came on Nov. 2 on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he posted 20 points, two assists, and two rebounds in 26 minutes of a 92-80 loss.
Sacramento will look to get more production from Thomas as the team has struggled to a 2-6 record and is in fifth place in the Pacific Division.
