The Sacramento Kings will have the first of three exhibition battles against the Los Angeles Lakers Friday in Las Vegas with tip scheduled for 7 p.m. PT.
The Lakers should have Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Steve Nash on the court but Dwight Howard isn't expected to make his debut until these teams meet again this Sunday.
Even with the superstar center's absence, rookie Thomas Robinson will have his hands full as he's expected to match up against Gasol for much of the night.
Other things to look for from the Kings are how Tyreke Evans continues to develop as a two-guard with Isiah Thomas and Aaron Brooks in tow.
Fans should also keep an eye on DeMarcus Cousins, who is quickly developing into one of the most dominant big men in the West. Cousins has been averaging 16.3 points and 8.3 rebounds over his three exhibition games so far in just 24.3 minutes played per game.
Location: Thomas and Mack Center, Las Vegas, NV
Where to watch: Time Warner Cable Sports Network if you're in the L.A. region or on NBA TV everywhere else.
