Golden State Warriors Offseason: Sights Set On Carl Landry, Re-Signing Brandon Rush

According to Marcus Thompson II of the Oakland Tribune, the Golden State Warriors are still looking to add depth to their frontcourt and wing positions.

Free agent small forward Josh Howard is an option at this point but Thompson says that the interest is only minimal. This is mainly due to the Warriors plan to re-sign wing Brandon Rush, which would make a Howard signing a bit redundant.

Instead, the Warriors have focused their attention on power forward Carl Landry, who would serve as the backup for David Lee even though he could start for a handful of teams in the league. Landry is comfortable both starting and coming off the bench so having him coming off the bench would be a great get for head coach Mark Jackson's squad.

Defensive specialist Dominic McGuire is also someone the Warriors would like to bring back.
