Anthony Randolph Signs 3-Year Deal With Denver Nuggets

As a reunion between the Golden State Warriors and Anthony Randolph was looking like a nice fit, CSN Bay Area reports that Randolph has signed a three-year, $6 million contract with the Denver Nuggets, leaving the W's to look elsewhere for backup big-man help.

Randolph averaged 7.4 points and 3.6 assists for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season, seeing time in only 34 games while getting the start in just five. He averaged 9.2 points, 6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in 93 games with the Warriors from 2008-2010. Denver will be the fourth team Randolph has played for in his five-year NBA career.

Randolph was the 14th overall pick of the Golden State Warriors back in the 2008 NBA Draft, joining an already crowded frontcourt in Denver alongside JaVale McGee, Kenneth Faried, and Timofey Mozgov. Golden State will simply have to keep looking for more bench help.
