2012 NBA Mock Draft: Warriors Select Jared Sullinger

Now that the Golden State Warriors have retained their lottery pick, now they must figure out the best way to utilize it in the 2012 NBA Draft.

SB Nation's very own Tom Ziller released his latest mock draft, and feels that big man Jared Sullinger out of Ohio State is the best fit for the W's with the No. 7 overal pick:

Here is Ziller with the commentary:

7. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS: JARED SULLINGER

Also known as "better David Lee." Sullinger would give the Warriors depth up front (a foreign concept to long-suffering Golden State fans) and would certainly make tanking the end of the season well worth it. Note: I see you, Andre Drummond. I see you and I'm not ignoring it. It's just ... you know ...

Sullinger, Lee and newly acquired Andrew Bogut would be a solid trio of front court talent, something that W's fans would likely accept with open arms, especially with the defensive prowess head coach Mark Jackson wants his team to have.
