The Golden State Warriors have announced that recently-acquired big man Andrew Bogut will undergo surgery on his fractured ankle this week. Bogut has not played since January 25 and is yet to record any playing with the Warriors. No timetable for his return has been announced, but arthroscopic surgeries typically do not take all that long to recover from. Bogut should be back in time for summer workouts.

This news came just minutes after the Warriors announced Stephen Curry would be undergoing ankle surgery of his own, so Saturday hasn't exactly been great for the franchise. Fortunately for Golden State, this does not sound like a huge deal and they should have their talented center fully healthy for the start of the regular season next October.
