As the Golden State Warriors season keeps on keeping on, they inch closer to retaining their top-7 protected draft pick in the 2012 NBA draft, with a meeting with the New Jersey Nets at Oracle Arena Friday night.
The Warriors have lost eight of their last ten including the past three in a row, and like the Nets, have been a bit short-handed as of late. New Jersey had only eight players available in their win over Indiana on Wednesday, but now travel out to Oakland trying to do the same thing.
As for Golden State, they're coming off an embarrassing 102-87 loss to the Hornets on Wednesday in which they allowed New Orleans to short 54 percent from the field. Maybe frustration is setting in or maybe they jsut had an off night, but Mark Jackson and his W's seem to be heading in the wrong direction once more.
Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. with coverage on CSN Bay Area.
