Lakers Vs. Warriors Preview: Kobe Bryant & Co. Takes On Klay Thompson, Short-Handed Warriors

Whenever the Los Angeles Lakers come to Oracle Arena, fans of the Golden State Warriors always seem to get a little more amped then they usually do. And after dropping with of their last five, maybe the W's have the Lake Show right where they want them.

The Lakers still have won 13 of the last 14 matchups against Golden State. They haven't seen much of Klay Thompson though, who played limited minutes in their 97-90 loss to Los Angeles in January. Thompson has seemingly been setting himself a new career-high in points each night out, averaging 18 points over his last ten including 31 two games ago against the Kings.

But the W's are one of Kobe Bryant's favorite teams to play, averaging 28.4 points in his last 16 games against Golden State, while newcomer Ramon Sessions has been impressive since coming over from Cleveland.

The Warriors are also very short-handed with injuries, highlighted by Stephen Curry and Nate Robinson. Hopefully David Lee can have himself another big game, as the Lakers are fresh of giving up 52 in the paint to the Grizzlies in a Sunday loss in Memphis.

Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area.
