The Golden State Warriors got themselves out of their funk last night against the New Orleans Hornets, and now turn their attention to the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center Thursday evening.
At 25-22 the Rockets are still a player in the playoff race, looking for their seventh straight home victory against the W's. They also are 17-6 at home with a 15 point average margin of victory, and despite some recent struggles are hosting a depleted Warriors squad just hoping to finish the season strong.
Without Stephen Curry or Andirs Biedrins, rookie Klay Thompson and David Lee have been taking the lead on the offensive end for Golden State, and will likely need to do so again this evening. Luis Scola should prove a handful for Lee this evening, averaging 22 points and 12 boards in his last five against the W's.
Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area.
