Warriors Vs. Celtics, NBA Scores: Klay Thompson's Great Night Not Enough, Celtics Escape With 105-103 Win

The Golden State Warriors have found a way to win as of late, looking for their fourth in a row Wednesday night against the visiting Boston Celtics at Oracle Arena. And despite another well-rounded offensive effort by Golden State their win streak would stop dead in it's tracks as Boston snuck out of town with the 105-103 victory.

Golden State battled out to a five point first half lead, trading blows with Boston all the way through the second half. A Nate Robinson layup lade it a 103-101 game with one minute left, then another one with 28 seconds left tied the game up, forcing a Celtics timeout. The C's held to the end of the shot clock as Kevin Garnett splashed a long two-point jumper to take back the lead 105-103 with five seconds remaining. Robinson would launch a prayer three on the ensuing inbound, eventually sealing their fate.

Klay Thompson had on of his best night as a pro, going 9-16 from the floor for a team high 26, David Lee had 22 and eight rebounds, while Nate Robinson had 20 and 11 assists. It unfortunately would all be for nought. Dorell Wright added 16 and seven boards, while Dominic McGuire had 10, shooting over 50% from the floor while forcing 17 Boston turnovers. Regrettably, the W's had 17 turnovers as well.

Lee also needed six stitches over his eye after catching an elbow in the first half, but came back and was A-OK.

Boston also spread the wealth tonight, with Kevin Garnett and Brandon Bass scoring 24 and 22 respectfully. Paul Pierce and Mickael Pietrus each added 15, while Rajon Rondo had 8 points and an impressive 14 assists.

The W's now host Monta Ellis and the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday in his almost immediate return to Oracle as part of the visiting squad. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT with coverage of CSN Bay Area.
