The Dallas Mavericks are currently in the middle of one of their worst losing streaks in recent memory, stretching it to six with their latest loss to the Sacramento Kings. Now they head to Oracle Arena Friday night to take on another team that's ben struggling, the Golden State Warriors, to see if either teams can ease their woes with a win tonight.
Despite the long dry spell from Dallas at least they are in the playoff hunt as the Warriors need to go on a dizzying stretch if they want to even be considered relevant to make the second season. Stephen Curry still hasn't been able to come back at full strength which limits the offense immensely, putting extra pressure on guys like David Lee and Dorrell Wright to step up to the plate. Lee has, Wright hasn't who is shooting 28 percent from the field in his last 10 games.
Dallas had won six straight against the Warriors before their most recent meeting last April when Monta Ellis scored 32 points en route to 99-92 victory at Oracle. Hopefully something similar will occur tonight.
Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area.
