Stephen Curry Rides Hot Hand, Golden State Warriors Beat Denver Nuggets 109-101

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors need to start winning to be taken seriously. Golden State has won only two road contests up to this point. The Warriors finally got the right matchup when they played the injury-depleted Denver Nuggets, and Curry made Denver pay for letting him get his shots.

Curry shot an incredible 76% from the field, making 13 of 17 shots and also nailed six of nine threes for 36 points. Curry also added seven rebounds and seven assists and only one turnover. Klay Thompson added 19 points off the bench on 8 of 11 shooting. Dorrel Wright added 15 points, Monta Ellis had 14, and David Lee put in 12. Golden State shot 52% from the field and 52% from downtown. Aaron Afflalo led the Nuggets with 26 points and Ty Lawson had 11 points and 10 assists in support.
