Warriors Vs. Pacers Preview: W's Head To Indy, Likely Without Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors come out of the All-Star break looking to make good on their preseason goal of making the playoffs, while the Indiana Pacers are looking to make some team history, looking to win their fifth straight game for the first time in the last two years as the W's enter Banker's Life Fieldhouse Tuesday evening.

This will be a very trying time for Golden State who begin a stretch of five road games in a row on Tuesday, in need of making a serious push if they want to get into the playoff discussion. The Trailblazers, the current eighth seed, are one game two games above .500 at the moment, while the W's are four games below it. Somewhere along the line this team is going to have to put a decent stretch together.

Stephen Curry was kept out of practice with his injured foot Monday and is still unknown if he'll be suiting up against the Pacers, but it isn't looking likely. Monta Ellis has been hot lately, and dropped 25 on them last month when the visted Oracle. I'd look for him to have a big game tonight.

As for the Pacers, their duo of Danny Granger and Roy Hibbert will be a tough task for the Warriors defense, especially Hibbert, who will be a handful in the paint this evening.

Tipoff is set for 4:00 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area.
