Warriors vs. Lakers, Halftime Score: Nate Robinson Shines In W's Debut, Warriors Lead 39-35

With Stephen Curry out tonight for the Golden State Warriors, they would have to supplement some offense one way or another against the Los Angeles Lakers. Enter Nate Robinson, taking the floor for the first time in a Warriors uniform, injecting the team with 9 points in 17 minutes, keeping the W's just ahead of the Lakers by the score of 39-35 at Staples Center.

Aside from nine first half turnovers the Warriors have played a rather decent (albeit low scoring) first half, keeping the Lakers to only 37% shooting from the floor while forcing 10 Laker turnovers as well. Aside from Robinson it's been rather bleak offensively for the Warriors though with Monta Ellis 4-9 from the floor with eight points, David Lee with four and nine boards, and Dorell Wright once again scoreless.

The bench was a factor for the W's in the first half, with Kaly Thompson adding five, while Ekpe Udoh had some nice moves over Pau Gasol, adding five from off the bench as well. Hopefully it keeps up in the second half.

Kobe Bryant leads the way for L.A. with 13, while Pau Gasol has only six points, though did grab 11 first half rebounds.

If the Warriors can turn some of these turnovers into some scoring opportunities, they might have had a big halftime lead, but any lead on the road is a good one, especially against the Lake Show. Should be a good second half.
