Warriors Vs. Nets, Final Score: Nets Spoil Monta Ellis' Big Night, Earn First Home Win 107-100

Both the Golden State Warriors and New Jersey Nets had a lot of incentive to win Wednesday's matchup at the Prudential Center in Newark, with the W's looking for their third straight win on the road while the Nets wanted their first home win of the season. And after a back-and-forth shootout for most of the night, the Nets used a big run down the stretch to end the Warriors winning streak and start one of their own, earning the 107-100 win.

Both teams were in shootout for a majority of the game, though the Warriors (5-9) remained just out of the Nets (4-11) reach for most of it. New Jersey would counter with a 15-4 run at the beginning of the fourth to take the lead back and never looked back. The W's scoring four points in the last five minutes of the game certainly didn't help either, including missed free throws from Monta Ellis and Dorell Wright down the stretch.

The Warriors rebounding also played a large factor in tonight's loss, getting out rebounded 45-25 including 16-7 on the offensive glass. They seemed to be in control, but couldn't keep up with the Nets barrage in the fourth quarter.

Ellis simply was doing it all for the W's tonight, dropping 30 points and five assists as well as six steals on defense. Klay Thompson was very productive off the bench, dropping 12 in 23 minutes, as were Nate Robinson and Brandon Rush, scoring nine and seven respectfully.

Dorell Wright did his thing tonight, dropping 17 points including 3-5 from three, while David Lee was in foul trouble early and never got into a rhythm, finishing with five fouls and 12 minutes on 4-11 shooting.

The Nets played very well as a unit tonight including six players in double figures led by Deron Williams' 24 points and 10 assists, and rookie MarShon Brooks' 22 and 8 boards. Kris Humphries added 18 and 15 rebounds.

Now the Warriors head home to regroup and get ready for the Pacers Friday night at Oracle.
