Warriors Looking For Wins On Upcoming Road Trip

The Golden State Warriors have been a work in progress since the beginning of Training Camp this season, but may have stumbled upon a perfect opportunity to build continuity and a winning swagger on their upcoming four game roadie.

With road games against the Charlotte Bobcats, Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers and New Jersey Nets on their upcoming docket, the W’s have four opponents who currently sit at .500 or worse, mostly leaning on young players to do the brunt of the work.

David Lee had this to say about this all-important stretch of road games:

"The fact of the matter is we have four teams who are below .500 (before Thursday’s games). We need to take care of business. There’s nothing to be said if we come back with a losing record on this road trip. It should be a huge disappointment. This is a road trip where we need to take care of business and get at least three or four games to come back here right at .500. I don’t see it any other way at this point. We’re playing good basketball."

The Warriors are a combined 26-100 on the road over the past three seasons or so, but the injection of Mark Jackson into this franchise may help turn a 2-2 road trip of seasons past into a 4-0 tone setting one.
