NBA 2K12 Ratings Released Via YouTube Prior To October Release Date

Thanks to the power of the Internet, player ratings on video games often get leaked to the public days or weeks in advance of the release of a given game. NBA 2K12 is no different as ratings were released on a YouTube video posted September 26. The game is scheduled to be released on October 4.

We can't see all the ratings for every player, but we can at least get the overall ratings for the the starters and much of the bench. Head after the jump to check out overall ratings for the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, as well as the video of the ratings to check out other teams.

It's notable that compared to NBA 2K11 ratings, for the Warriors, Monta Ellis' rating dropped one spot, David Lee's dropped four and Stephen Curry remained the same. For the Kings, Tyreke Evans dropped two and DeMarcus increased one. The video does not show every player on each team but rather those "above the fold." Rookies like Jimmer Fredette and Klay Thompson do not appear for the Warriors and Kings, although I'm not sure if that's because they are below the fold or because they aren't in the game until the lockout ends.
