Warriors vs. Lakers, NBA Schedule Preview: Lakers in Town Looking to Stop the Bleeding Against Warriors

After the Golden State Warriors took out the Portland Trailblazers (as well as Marcus Camby) last night by a score of 108-87 at the Rose Garden, they now head back to Oracle to host the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers with both teams on the second night of a back-to-back. It is always one of the most popular and anticipated games of the year at Oracle as the W’s will look to extend Kobe Bryant and the Lakers losing streak to three games in a row.

The Lakers lost a nail bitter to the Utah Jazz last night 86-85 and two nights prior to the Denver Nuggets 95-90, and I could only imagine that they will come out hunger and focused tonight as they look to steal the number one seed in the Western Conference from the San Antonio Spurs. In their last meeting the Lakers won 115-110 with Kobe dropping 39 on the Warriors. Monta Ellis will look to return the favor tonight at Oracle, and hopefully extend the W’s win streak to two.

Tipoff is set for 7:30 tonight and can be seen on CSN Bay HD, and heard on KNBR 1050 AM.
