Warriors vs. Nuggets, NBA Scores: Nuggets Rout Warriors 134-111 Despite 27 From Dorell Wright & Stephen Curry

As the Golden State Warriors finish off their season sans Monta Ellis, the other scorers on the team would have to pick up the slack. Stephen Curry and Dorell Wright held up their ends of the bargain, but unfortunately the W’s defense couldn’t get the job done tonight as the Denver Nuggets got the win by a score of 134-111.

Curry and Wright scored 27 apeice for the W’s, with Reggie Williams added 17 and David Lee 10. Rookie Ekpe Udoh had an impressive 6 blocks, while Valdimir Radmanovic added 9 from off the bench. As a team the Warriors shot 44% from the floor, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Nugs offensive explosion tonight.

The Nuggets had an astounding 76 points in the paint tonight, with 9 of their 10 players scoring in double digits, led by J.R. Smith’s 22, and Chris Anderson’s double-double of 14 points and 12 boards. Denver shot an impressive 53% from the field, while out rebounding the W’s 49-37.

Full box score can be found here.

Next for the Warriors is their final game of the season as the host the Portland Trailblazers on Wednesday at Oracle Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:30 and can be seen on CSN Bay Plus and heard on KNBR 1050 AM.
