Warriors v. Rockets, NBA Schedule Preview: Warriors Look to Stop Recent Skid Against Rockets Tonight

The Golden State Warriors are making the last stop of their current four game road trip tonight as they take on the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. The W’s are looking to end a 5 game losing streak and finish the season on somewhat of a high note, while the Rockets are on a four game winning streak and sit only two games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

In the Warriors last game against the San Antonio Spurs, rookie Ekpe Udoh led all scorers with 15 points and added 2 blocks starting in place of the injured Andris Biedrins, and will hopefully bring that production into H-Town this evening. It’s a bit of a trial and error period for the Warriors right now, and David Lee and Ekpe Udoh need as much time on the floor with one another as possible as the team tinkers with different rotations. When these teams last met in late December Golden State fell to Houston 121-112 at Oracle Arena, despite Monta Ellis dropping 44 points.

Tipoff is set for 5:30 tonight and can be seen on CSN Bay Area and heard on KNBR 1050. The Warriors have to stop the bleeding sometime, and tonight seems good a time as any to get a win.
