Warriors v. Suns, NBA Score Update: Suns Lead Warriors 50-38 at Half Behind W's Poor Shooting

The Golden State Warriors trail the Phoenix Suns at halftime this evening by a score of 50-38 at the U.S. Airways Center, largely in part to the lack of offense by the Warriors.

As a team the Warriors are shooting only 37% (16-43), as well as having an astounding 15 turnovers in two quarters of work. Stephen Curry didn’t score a point in that quarter and still has 10, Monta Ellis and David Lee both pushed their totals up to 8 points with 7 boards. There were a lot of bench players on the court in the second period for the W’s, and got some production out of Reggie Williams and Acie Law with 4 points apiece, while Louis Amundson has 2 poitns and 3 boards in his return to Phoenix tonight.

As for the Suns they were led by Channing Frye’s 10 points, Steve Nash has 8 and 6 assists, while Marcin Gortat has 8 off the bench. The Suns have out rebounded the Warriors 29-22, and have 14 assists as a team.

I really don’t know what to say, it’s like the Warriors aren’t really even trying. The players are going to have to snap out of it if they want to win this ball game.
