Warriors v. Suns, NBA Score Update: Warriors Trail Suns 27-20 After One

It hasn’t been the kind of start people would have assumed with the caliber of offenses on the floor tonight, but the Golden State Warriors trail the Phoenix Suns 27-20 after the first quarter.

Neither team shot the ball well in the first period, with neither team getting any higher that 40% apiece. Both teams had 7-0 runs to keep it close, with Steph Curry leading all scorers with ten points, David Lee has six, and Monta Ells has only two. Ekpe Udoh came out agressive with two blocks and two boards, but only played four minutes due to foul trouble, starting in place of the injured Andris Biedrins.

Steve Nash had been hobbled by a recent pelvic injury, but still managed to score 8 points and 3 dimes. Robin Lopez has 6, Channing Frye has 5, and Marcin Gortat scored 6 from off of the bench.

Kind of a slow start to this game, hopefully things will pick up as the game goes on.
