NBA Free Agents: Golden State Warriors Reportedly Sign Kyrylo Fesenko

The Golden State Warriors have been worried about their big men for quite some time. The Warriors have had pretty solid guard and swing man play, but it all unravels when teams start to attack the inside and no one is ready to meet them at the hilt. Golden State has capable players in Andris Biedrins and David Lee, but neither of them is your typical idea of a big man who can dominate the game inside on both ends of the floor.

So the Warriors are apparently stockpiling on bigs.

Source tells http://t.co/Myv8C3o8 that big man Kyrylo Fesenko has agreed to a one-year deal with Golden State.

Fesenko's one-year deal with Golden State is for the rest of the Ws' cap space: approx $1.07 million, source says.

Fesenko didn't have great numbers with the Jazz, but would join a crowded rotation that already features Biedrins, Lee, Kwame Brown and Ekpe Udoh, but for one year this could be a nice pickup for a team that hopes to return to the playoffs. That isn't a great front-line, but it's far from a bad one. Considering contenders like the Mavericks and the Heat were interested in picking Fesenko up, the Warriors might have landed a gem for a bargain.
