Stephen Curry Injury Update: Warriors Point Guard Likely To Play In Season Opener

Although Golden State Warriors starting point guard Stephen Curry missed practice as late as Thursday due to an ankle injury and was listed as questionable for Sunday night's Opening Day matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, it looks as though he's intending on playing in the game after all.

According to Matt Steinmetz of CSN Bay Area, Curry participated in the pregame walk-through on Sunday, appearing with the starting unit and performing his normal pregame shooting drills, although he was wearing a brace on his ankle.

Curry injured the ankle during an exhibition game against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. If he is able to play in the game at near-full capacity, it would be a boost to the Warriors, who are going up against the suddenly-formidable and much-hyped Clippers in the opening game of the shortened season for both teams.
