NBA Lockout 2011: David Stern Cancels Two More Weeks Of Season

NBA fans, if you were holding your breath for the lockout to end on Friday, you can start breathing once again. Commissioner David Stern made a statement around 8 p.m. eastern time stating two more weeks of the 2011-2012 season had been cancelled.

There were reports earlier on Thursday and Friday morning that the two sides were nearing an agreement, but it appears that negotiations fell apart as the evening hours approached.

Ugh.

In addition to the first two weeks of cancelled games, here is a list of the games cancelled through November 30 for the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors.

Kings:

11/14 - @ Memphis Grizzlies
11/16 - vs. Washington Wizards
11/18 - @ Dallas Mavericks
11/19 - @ San Antonio Spurs
11/21 - New York Knicks
11/23 - Utah Jazz
11/25 - @ Los Angeles Lakers
11/27 - Charlotte Bobcats
11/30 - Minnesota Timberwolves

11/16 - vs. Philadelphia 76ers
11/18 - vs. Washington Wizards
