The Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors are playing each other for the second time in one week, meaning that Blake Griffin is again terrorizing Golden State defenders. Earlier this week, Griffin entered orbit when ripping down an offensive rebound against Vladimir Radmanovic.
Tonight, he made things happen...without making things happen. That's the power of Blake Griffin.
Early in the first quarter, Griffin set a pick on Monta Ellis, as Eric Gordon drove right. Ellis forced him right, and David Lee played way off to prevent the driving lane for Gordon. That left Griffin wide open. Uh oh.
Gordon passed it to Griffin; Ellis anticipated and had his hands up prepared for it. Only it was a bounce pass through Ellis's legs. Griffin received it, dribbled, took one step, then launched himself toward the stars.
Unfortunately, Andris Biedrins was in the way of another highlight. But he's made his presence felt.
Oooh. Ahhh. The crowd is rocked. Consider Oracle Arena another victim of the future All-Star dunk contestant.
