Warriors 47, Hawks 52 - Dorell Wright Leads All Scorers With 19 Points

After being down 12 after the Hawks went on a 10-0 run to start the second quarter, the Warriors managed to battle back and close the gap to a respectable 5 points.

The Warriors did not have an answer for Al Horford, who is steadily pacing the Hawks with 17 points on 8-9 shooting. On consecutive possessions, Horford used his speed and athleticism to score over David Lee. The first showed Horford bursting past Lee for an easy bucket off the glass, which Vladimir Radmanovic’s help defense never came. Ice stares from Lee.

The next bucket was a lob pass to Horford, who, in mid-air about 5 feet out, caught the pass, turned, and kissed it off the glass for another 2 points.

Luckily, Dorell Wright has been hot for the Warriors, notching 19 points. Monta Ellis, however, has not played well, shooting 2-9 from the field. Stephen Curry, after playing turnover free basketball for the bulk of the first half, committed 2 turnover in the final 3 minutes of the second quarter — both bad passes in traffic.
