Warriors-Timberwolves: By The Numbers, Warriors Win With Guard Play + Intense Recap Linkage

It is a joyous day for the Warriors, who finally ended their seven-game losing streak dating back to the LAST time the Warriors faced and beat the Timberwolves. The Internet is a buzz.

Check out Golden State of Mind’s post-game linkage from across the world wide web, a comprehensive look at the win from multiple perspectives. A can’t miss for you Warrior fans.

Here are a few stats that will make you happy:

Warriors guards — Monta Ellis, Reggie Williams, and Acie Law — combined for 69 of the Warriors' 108 points. That is 64% of the points from three people.

Those three guards combined to make 24-41 field goals for nearly 59% from the field.

Together, they also shot 72% from the free throw line. The rest of the team shot 6 of 13 for 46%.

Ellis, Williams and Law ALSO made 8 of 12 from 3-point territory. That is an amazing 67%.

Relish this while you can because this was probably the only time in the last seven games that they actually shot 50% from the field — collectively. And this might be only be the second time that they actually made above 60% from the free throw line. With that said, does anyone think that shooting coach Mark Price needs to be evaluated by the staff?

Someone that shot 90% from the free throw line for his career can barely get this team to shoot 70% for the season. C’mon Mark Price, help this team out!
