The Joe Lacob and Peter Guber regime has just taken off and, together, they may want to take us all the way to San Francisco. No, not the playoffs quite yet. But, yes, San Francisco.
↵Raj Mathai, sports director of NBC Bay Area and arguably the handsomest Desi in the Bay Area, tweeted that Lacob has already considered what will happen once the Warriors' lease runs out:

The rumors have been going on forever and we all know that teams threaten a "move" as power play in the ongoing dance between citizens taxation, the city, and corporate desires to maximize profits. Will the Warriors move to San Francisco? It's questionable. But this all sounds like 1965 all over again when the then San Francisco Warriors rumored to move Oakland.
↵Moving to the city would be devastating for fans as getting to games will no longer be as joyful as riding next to another hardcore yet demoralized fan. And what about the guy on the skybridge selling bootleg gear that always gives you the wrong size? How is going to get his hustle on? But on the real, after seeing a few more "updated" stadiums like the Palace of Auburn Hills and the Staples Center, a shiny new stadium is definitely in order. Though, there is something oddly charming about the low-modernist mid-century architectural aesthetics. I'm torn.
