Warriors @ Bulls: David Lee Sidelined Due To Elbow Injury

David Lee's bleeding arm perhaps is worse than originally thought. Wilson Chandler’s razor-sharp teeth must have been coated with venom as Lee will not be available for tonight’s game.

David Lee is out tonight vs. Chicago. He’s got cooties in his left elbow.

Rusty Simmons has more via Twitter:

DLee is a no-go tonight in Chicago with an elbow laceration. He didn’t need stitches, but is on heavy antibiotics.

Brandan Wright will get the start at power forward as the Vladi haters rejoice.

This is a huge blow, as we all know, for the Warriors who lose their top rebounder, probably the only person that could help neutralize Joakim Noah’s beasting on the boards (currently leading the league in rebounds at 15.7).

This is Brandan Wright’s chance. But the young fella has struggled to minimize his fouls despite being offensively effective in limited minutes. Let hope Dan Gadzuric is a go because the Warriors will need his size and energy in Lee’s absence.
