Early on, the Warriors are struggling to get a hand in the face of any Laker on the perimeter. On several occasions so far, Pau Gasol, Kobe Bryant, and Lamar Odom have gotten wide open looks, in large part because of effective screens set by their teammates.
The Warriors on the other hand have come out cold, missing open layups and jumpers. The Lakers transition defense is also taking away the Warriors run-and-gun game.
