Warriors Still Can't Win On The Road, But Keep It Close In 92 - 87 Loss

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Steve Nash scored 18 points and Robin Lopez chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds, as Phoenix nipped Golden State, 92-87, in exhibition play.

Channing Frye and Jason Richardson logged 14 and 11 points, respectively, for the Suns, who shot just 37.8 percent from the floor but held the Warriors to 33.0 percent shooting. Suns forward Josh Childress also broke his right index finger during the game.

Monta Ellis paced Golden State with 29 points, while Brandan Wright added 14 in the loss.

Our Golden State Warriors blog, Golden State Of Mind, has a postgame link dump, which is a great resource for those of you who have trouble viewing/listening to the oft-sought after NBA preseason game.
