The Warriors are on the road tonight on the second game of a back-to-back, which if history has been any indication, this could get ugly, very fast.
But this is a new-look Warriors team as is the Phoenix Suns, whom Amar’e Stoudamire-less, have posted a less than pedestrian 1-5 record in the preseason. Cause for concern?
Possibly.
The Warriors played another sloppy game last night, but managed to play 12 solid minutes to blow an otherwise close game wide open in the fourth quarter. Stephen Curry continues to struggle with his passing and shooting, which Curry and Coach Keith Smart seem not too concerned with.
David Lee steadily contributes his nightly double-doubles, the lone consistency on this squad thus far.
Will the outcome of this game be evidence of a re-organization of Western Conference hierarchies? Will the Warriors leapfrog over the Phoenix Suns by default — Stoudamire leaving — with this win? The Suns have some intriguing talent that hasn’t quite figured it out yet either in Earl Clarke and Goran Dragic. Sounds a lot like the Warriors. Over-hype?
NEW SEGMENT
Jeremy Lin Corner: In 12 minutes last night, Jeremy Lin posted 5 Points, 2 boards, and 2 assists. What do you think we can we expect from him tonight?
