The San Francisco Giants have unveiled their 34-game Cactus League schedule, which will begin on Feb. 23 in a split-squad contest against the Los Angeles Angels at Scottsdale Stadium.
Pitchers and catchers will report on Feb.12 -- the earliest the club has ever opened camp -- to accommodate the schedule of the World Baseball Classic during the month of March.
The Giants will wrap up camp on March 27 and face the Oakland A's in a three-game set in the Bay Area, with the first two games being played on March 28 and 29 at AT&T Park, and the third on March 30 at O.co Coliseum.
San Francisco's regular season will open against their NL West rival Los Angeles Dodgers on April 2 at Dodger Stadium.
Season tickets for spring training games at Scottsdale Stadium will go on sale on Dec. 17 via the Giants Ticket Office and sfgiants.com.
