The San Francisco Giants are bringing back Jeremy Affeldt. The Giants have apparently come to a new deal worth about three years and $18 million.

The source indicates that Affeldt will undergo a physical on Tuesday in San Francisco. If he passes the physical, the Giants and Affeldt should be able to come to terms. Affeldt was really hoping to come back to San Francisco, and apparently was looking for a multi-year contract to ensure he'd be able to stay on the West Coast close to his home in Seattle.

The 33 year old Affeldt appeared in 67 baseball games last year, pitching 63 1/3 innings while givin gup a 2.70 ERA. Through his career with San Francisco, Affeldt has appeared in 261 games, pitching 237 1/3 innings and managing a 2.73 ERA. Affeldt has been a part of both of San Francisco's World Series winning teams in both the 2010 and 2012 seasons.
