Giants vs. Tigers, World Series Game 4: Game time, TV schedule and more

The San Francisco Giants have been dominant through three games and look to finish off the Detroit Tigers for their second title in three years.

Jason O. Watson

The San Francisco Giants are one win away from a World Series title as they take the field against the Detroit Tigers in Comerica Park on Sunday in Game 4 of the World Series.

The Giants are coming off of back-to-back shutouts of the Tigers, the first time that has happened since 1956. One more win, and the Giants will win their second title in three years. To do that, they turn to their best pitcher, Matt Cain.

Cain was on the mound when the Giants won Game 7 of the National League Championship Series against the St. Louis Cardinals and has a career 1.83 ERA in the playoffs. Who better to have on pitching with a World Series title on the line than your ace?

But the Tigers will have a counter in Max Scherzer. Scherzer struck out 10 in 5 2/3 innings in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series and will try to extend the Tigers' season for one more game.

Game Time: Sunday, Oct. 28, 5:00 pm PT
