Major League Baseball has announced the schedule for the 2012 National League Championship Series between the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals. The Giants advanced to the NLCS following a three-game comeback effort against Cincinnati, while the Cardinals rallied against Washington to advance in five games.
Games 1 and 2 will be played in San Francisco at AT&T Park. Game 1 will be played on Sunday at 8:15 p.m. ET. That's a 5:15 p.m. start time for those of you in the Bay Area. Game 2 is set for Monday with the first pitch coming at 8:07 p.m. ET.
Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary) will be played at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Game 3 is at 4:07 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Game 4 is Thursday at 8:07 p.m. ET. If they need Game 5, it'll be played on Oct. 19 at 8:07 p.m. ET.
If Games 6 and/or 7 are required, they will be played at AT&T Park. Game 6 will be played on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 4:45 p.m. ET. Game 7 is set for 8:07 p.m. ET on Monday, Oct. 22.
All NLCS games will be televised live on FOX.
