2012 Pac-12 Tournament, California Vs. Stanford: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The age-old Bay Area rivalry returns to the 2012 Pacific Life Pac-12 Tournament as the No. 2 seeded California Golden Bears (23-8, 13-5 Pac-12) take on the No. 7 Stanford Cardinal in a quarterfinals matchup at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday evening.

After the Cardinal kept Cal from clinching their first ever Pac-12 regular season title this past Sunday, the Golden Bears are out for some redemption against their arch-nemesis. Stanford will certainly come in brimming with confidence after dismantling Arizona State Wednesday night by the score of 85-65 behind Chasson Randle's career-high 30 points.

Cal will be rested and ready though, and has made it to the championship game here twice (2006, 2010). They've had nine victories in the tournament since moving to Staples in 2002, and are out to make it nine this evening. This will be the first conference tournament meeting between these two since way back on March 9, 1990, when the Cardinal handled the Golden Bears 77-61 in Tempe, AZ.
