2012 Pac-12 Tournament Bracket, Schedule And More: Cal Loses To Stanford, Falls To No. 2 Seed

The California Golden Bears failed to wrap up a share of the Pac-12 title when they lost to the Stanford Cardinal, earning the #2 seed in the Pac-12 tournament. Cal finishes the season on a two game losing streak and are at 13-5 in the conference, while the Washington Huskies won the outright Pac-12 title.

Cal will still earn a first round bye and will play their first game on Thursday night at 6 PM PT when they take on the winner of the Stanford/Arizona State game. Cal has split the season series with Stanford and dismantled ASU in their lone matchup. If Cal wins, they will likely play either Oregon or Colorado, teams they have struggled with playing despite going 3-1 against them.

Stanford is locked into the 7th seed and will start their quest for a Pac-12 Tournament championship against the Arizona St. Sun Devils Wednesday at 6 pm PT, who Stanford beat handily in their lone regular season matchup. If Stanford wins, they’ll end up playing Cal once again.

Here’s the first round Pac-12 bracket, game times, and TV information below:
