Pac-12 Tournament: Washington Loss To UCLA, Leaves Cal Controlling Destiny Vs. Stanford

Thanks to the Washington Huskies Saturday loss to UCLA, the California Golden Bears are playing for a share in the conference title and a No. 1 seed in the Pac-12 tournament on Sunday against Stanford.

Thanks to the Washington Huskies 75-69 loss to the UCLA Bruins on Saturday afternoon, the Cal Golden Bears have a shot at sharing the Pac-12 regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. Of course, that's only if they win Sunday evening against Stanford in the regular season finale.

Cal's 69-66 victory over Washington on Jan. 19 is what is keeping the door open for a possible top seed and a share of the regular season title. Had Washington, who finished the regular season with a 21-9 record, won today they would have won the conference without having to share the title.

Cal faces Stanford at 2:30 p.m. (PT) on the road in Maples Pavilion. They're coming off a loss to Colorado but before that they won six in a row. They can thank UCLA for throwing a wrench in the gears and giving Cal a chance at sharing the conference title.
