Cal Basketball Loses To Colorado 70-57, Falls Out Of First Place

With the Washington Huskies continuing to win and stay on top of the Pac-12, the California Golden Bears needed to beat the Colorado Buffaloes on Senior Day to keep pace. But they finally dropped one at the most crucial time, as they shot a pitiful 38% and were outrebounded 34-25 to fall into second place in the conference.

Jorge Gutierrez picked the worst time to have his worst performance of the season, shooting 0 for 7 (although he did grab nine rebounds). Allen Crabbe had 16 points (although he tapered off from his early shooting performance), Justin Cobbs added 15 points, and Harper Kamp put in 13 points. But Cal had trouble keeping Andre Roberson off the boards (15 in all), Nate Tomlinson had an excellent game with 11 points, four rebounds and four assists, and Austin Dufault and Spencer Dinwiddie put in 15 points.
